Kudditji Kngwarreye Kudditji Kngwarreye, a cousin of the late Emily Kame Kngwarreye, was born at Boundary Bore (Utopia) in about 1928, and is custodian of many important Dreamings. He tells of the travels and law of the Emu ancestors. In the early 1990's Kudditji's experimentation with his art led him to move away from 'dot art' but his bold style was not well received by the major galleries at that time. It was not until 2002 that Kudditji revisited the bold approach. The newer works have been shown throughout Australia and the USA, to much acclaim. |
