Maureen Hudson Nampitjinpa (aka Maureen Turner Nampitjinpa) Born: 1959 Maureen Hudson Nampitjinpa first started painting in 1988. In 1990, she travelled to Vanuatu for the international Art Dock Show. Since 1998, Maureen has been the annual artist-in-residence at Mulgara Gallery, Yulara Hotel Resort. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout Australia, in Seattle and Colorado in USA, and in London. On offer is is a 2009 painting entitled My Place. The work is in acrylic on canvas, and measures 100 x 65 cms. The sale price is $1,500. |
