Nellie Marks Nakamarra Nellie Marks Nakamarra was born circa 1976 in the Kintore region, Northern Territory. She is the younger sister of the renowned Central Australia artist Elizabeth Marks Nakamarra. Nellie’s early style was minimalist and graphic, but her recent paintings are much more detailed and creative both in form and use of colour. Nellie’s paintings are striking due to their symmetrical design of lines and dot work. For sale is an excellent example of her current work, Women’s Ceremony, measuring 93 cms x 150 cms and authenticated by a CD and COA. It is on offer for $1,500.
