Arthur Phillips Arthur Phillips was born in Lancashire, UK, in 1938 and arrived in Australia in 1949. He studied drawing and design at the Tasmanian School of Arts in Hobart, and became an abstract and surrealistic painter in watercolour, oil and acrylic. He now lives in Adelaide. Arthur has had several one-man shows in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, and is a past winner of the Bunbury Prize (WA) and Dubbo Prize (NSW). His work is represented in collections in Germany, UK and USA. For sale here is a watercolour of The Coorong, signed by the artist. The image measures 16 x 23 cms and is priced at $400.
