William (Bill) Coleman Bill Coleman was born in Ballarat, Victoria, in 1922. He studied at RMIT, and then under George Bell for six years, before working as a photolithographic and cartographic artist for over 30 years. He died in 1993. His work is represented in the New York Public Library Collection and several regional and private collections in Australia. For sale is an oil painting on canvas laid on board in very good original condition depicting a 'Group of Three Adults and Two Babies'. The painting is unsigned but comes from the estate of Bill Coleman, and is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Susan Coleman Maddison (niece of Bill Coleman). The image measures 45.5 x 60.2 cms and is priced at $1,200.
