Christine McCarthy Christine McCarthy was born in Adelaide in 1952, was awarded Diplomas in Fine Art and Art Teaching in the 1970s, and was Co-Proprietor and Director of the Ruth Tuck Art School from 1990. Christine is renowned for her hand coloured linocuts and woodcuts depicting still life, landscapes and portraits. She has held solo exhibitions throughout Australia and in Japan. Her work is included in numerous institutional, corporate and private collections. For sale is Mixed Arrangement, a hand coloured linocut (ed 1/15) measuring approx 40 cms x 32 cms. It is signed, titled and dated (1984). The sale price is a very reasonable $350. |
