Emil Milosevic Emil Milosevic gained his fame as an artist and printmaker in Yugoslavia. His signature 'cold press' style of printing makes use of a range of materials, including used X-ray film. He bleaches the image from the film, then engraves it with implements such as dental tools, before staining it and rolling it onto paper. The subjects of Emil's artwork range from the erotic to the religious, with glimpses of his life in Yugoslavia through landscapes and portraits. Milosevic fled the political unrest in Yugoslavia to settle with his sister in Ballarat, Victoria. |
