Graham Fransella
Graham Fransella's boldly minimal, figurative work is immediately recognisable and highly sought after. Born in Harrow, England, he attended art school in London during the late 60s and early 70s, and continued his studies at RMIT Melbourne, where he gained a Masters of Fine Art in 1994.
Fransella is the recipient of numerous prizes and scholarships, including the 2000 Wynne Watercolour Prize. Amongst others he has been finalist in the Dobell Drawing Prize, 2005, 2004, 2003; and the Archibald Prize, 1999, 1998. Fransella's work is represented in many public and corporate collections in Australia, North America and Europe.
For sale here is a 1991 hand coloured etching entitled Figure and Hand, edition 9/25. Measuring 40 cms x 30 cms, it is framed, titled, and signed. It is priced at $750.
