Jacqueline Hick

Born in Adelaide, Jacqueline Hick (1919-2004) studied in Adelaide, London and Paris. Her dramatic pictures of 'regional subjects' won wide acclaim from about 1950 and made her one of the leading painters working in this field. Jacqueline won several awards in the 1950s and 60s; her work is represented in all state and many regional and university galleries, and in London and USA.

This oil on canvas depicts Forest Birds and measures 59.5 x 45 cms. The sale price is $4,000.
